It has recently come to my attention that a company from a country through which terrorist funds have been channelled and whose citizens have committed terrorist acts in the name of Islam is involved in the ownership of US ports! This has got to be stopped — British companies must not own US ports.
Nevermind that the UK is an ally in the war on terror. Nevermind that the concept "ownership" in modern financial parlance has little to do with the vernacular notion the unschooled take it for. Good thing, then, that P&O Ports is being acquired by UAE's Dubai Ports World. Now that's a country where the war on terror isn't hampered by liberal interpretations of human rights law. Trust UAE nationals to really get nasty with terrorist scum — all the British do is whine about their Tipton Three and Guantanamo bay. No ports for you!
Finally something Bush does that I agree with. Go Dubai Dubya.
